Lubrication System by Bijur Delimon International
Lubrication System is a technique used to reduce wear by sandwiching a substance between two rubbing surfaces. For instance, rubbing your hands together causes them to heat up, which will eventually cause your skin to burn. However, you can prevent injury by reducing friction by washing your hands with soap.
The same applies to all surfaces that rub together. The absence of lubrication in moving metal machinery means that parts must be replaced frequently in rapid-moving devices such as automobiles, manufacturing equipment, pistons, pumps, cams, bearings, turbines, cutting tools, chains, and motors.
To assist prevent this wear, a substance known as a lubricant is placed between the surfaces to carry or help bear the load. Most lubricants are oils or greases. It is difficult to keep lubricant between moving surfaces, which is why a lubrication system is used.
Different lubrication system by Bijur Delimon International
1- Heavy Machinery lubrication system
Larger equipment with more moving parts than the engine, such as tractors, trucks, and diggers, needs to be lubricated on a regular basis. All of the pivoting points on the hydraulic arms must be kept well oiled because the bearings operate under severe loads and in filthy, wet environments.
The JCB has no lubrication system, thus all of these locations must be manually oiled. The driver must visit up to 30 spots and pump in grease every few hours of operation.
An automatic lubrication system can be installed by us. Any size equipment may be greased using our automatic lubrication systems. Grease is injected to all the spots that need it using a tried-and-true Lincoln pump with a reservoir of the right size and Because of their rigorous schedule, these auto greasers never skip a lubrication cycle, which could result in component failure and breakdown.
The lubricant in these parts are most commonly a grease. Greases are much thicker than oil and harder to move, but last much longer and lubricate better than oil.
There are different greases for different applications. Such as Extreme Pressure (EP2) Grease, High-Temperature Grease, Water Resistant Grease or even FLM2 Grease with Molybdenum disulphide for extreme conditions.
2- Heavy Industry lubrication system
Similar greasing is needed at large factories or other locations with massive industrial machinery. However, they also have the issue of requiring lubrication for other devices. Without regular lubrication, chains, gears, or rails may wear out or jam.
This where our Automatic Lubrication System is used as well. Grease is pumped from a single pump to bearings, a chain lubrication brush, a rail spray, or a unique gear that uniformly secretes lubricant onto a gear’s face.
3 - Engine Lubrication Systems
What should be the right lubricating system on car? A combustion engine has so many moving components that it requires a complex lubrication system, but the owner only needs to maintain one tank of lubricant topped up.
Engine oil is the lubricant used in car engines and is widely available, typically in 5 to 10-litre containers. Modern car engines, which are built to extremely tight tolerances, require a particularly specific engine oil. The specific oil used for each car can be found in its manual.
Engine lubrication systems begin in the oil tank, often known as the oil sump. The oil pump then sucks the engine oil and pumps it through the oil filter, removing anything floating in it. It is then pumped through all of the bearings, the camshaft (the spinning rod at the top of the engine), and the crankshaft (the rail at the bottom of the engine). There are then holes in these two rods through which oil sprays and falls, lubricating the cams and moving engine elements. The unused oil is then returned to the oil sump at the bottom to be filtered and reused.
In order to reduce weight, two-stroke engines use a far simpler lubrication system than those found in lawnmowers, hedge cutters, and boat engines. The air-fuel combination is merely permitted to circulate throughout the engine’s pistons. After that, a lubricant additive is added to the fuel, enabling the air-fuel mixture to lubricate every moving component as it passes through the engine. Because it is combined with the fuel before the machine is filled, this additive is frequently referred to as two stroke mix.
Alongside ensuring a well-functioning lubrication system, other maintenance tasks like DPF cleaning are crucial for the longevity and efficiency of your engine. Learn more about our heavy machinery DPF cleaning services.
